Funny enough mine are all great around the kids but not too good with the grown ups, and every dog we have ever had have all disliked my partners brother. I wonder if it is because he is allergic to animals? Your right, all too often people want to pet my dogs and like you, depending on who I have at the time, I say yes or no. I politely ask children / parents not to touch him as he is not a 'cute puppy' but a grumpy old man (he's 11).
