Hi.
I am the marketing manager for an accounting outsourcing company – http://www.smithkennedy.co.uk. I paid some money to a company which would submit 100 links on different directories for me. I did that only to get high on google rankings when somebody searches for specific keywords related to outsourcing. Despite of submitting links on 100 web directories, I don’t see them reflect as inlinks when I analyse my website on http://www.yahoo.com (site explorer – https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/)
I have sent an email inquiring about why the links are not helping us move up the search rankings. However, it would be helpful for an SEO expert like you to tell me why this is so?
Thanks
Vishal

Hi Nikki,
hope you are keeping well and are ready for the new arrival, all the best of luck…my question(s) are SEO related for my website of about 2 yrs old. it attracts a few buying customers and it is very useful for bringing real live customers to my shop on the high street, but I am keen to increase traffic to the online shop and turn those visits into buying customers. I have confidence that the site is good and that my products are good prices are good, so no worries there. It is a cubecart shop and I have found an SEO enhancer download and wondered if you thought it would be a viable option to purchase? http://www.magic-seo-url.com/cubecart/?gclid=CNGQ0ojO758CFZdi4wodkVZ_Xw and to have a go at some google adwords campaigns, promoting some of my collectables such as Jellycat and Viva Beads.
I would be greatful for some advice but appreciate that an indepth answer may be time consuming for you, and don’t want to take advantage of the oppertunity to the extreme.
any advice would be welcome
Kindest Regards
Olivia

What is the quickest and most cost efficient way to get 10,000 people on my list in 3 months.
Great question! I would like to know as well.
A good competition works – a subscribe and win, as well as having a good value ‘report’ or ebook attached also does well. It’s important that you have a variety of subscribe options so you can get the right people on the right lists.
Also important that the emails are followed up correctly – failing to utilise the list and follow it up with good newsletters is a waste of all your hard work
If you struggle with the content for newsletters, Babs, Bian and Suze ghostwrite as well as Nikki and possibly some of the other Birds here do too – we are a talented bunch
