I’m an English language teacher for speakers of other languages. I teach face-to-face and online, and I run my own business as well as freelance for other organizations. I have a bit of an eclectic work background and past jobs include several years with the Inland Revenue, self-employed theatre costume designer, registered child-minder, Adult Literacy tutor and ESOL tutor.
My passions include the English language, books, learning and education, and I’m quite likely to be blogging about any of those areas. On the other hand, I’m also a mum to three, a home-educator and a vegetarian, and I’m very interested in Russian literature, history and culture, and art, so in theory I could blog about just about anything!
