I am Nick, and as you may notice I am not your Stereotypical Bird on the Blog. I don’t know what came over Sarah when she invited me to join her enterprise, but she displayed remarkable astuteness in seducing me with the offer of being a wild card – it’s what I love!
Although I am quite anti-social, friends and family are extremely important to me – like many things that other people don’t understand about me, that makes perfect sense to me. I have 3 children by my 1st marriage, and I am very proud of them all. I love trying new things, and in my time have Rowed, played Rugby, Squash, been a Scuba Diver and a Glider Pilot. I love doing new and different things, and I guess being a Bird on a Blog is one of them.
I am an Engineering Graduate of Lincoln College, Oxford and a Chartered Engineer, and I spent my 13 years of employed life working as an Engineer for Unilever, initially in soap Research and Development and then building Food Factories. I am not suited to the corporate environment (can’t keep my mouth shut, and I like to understand how everything works), so I took the opportunity to work for myself and now I am Landlord of Pimlico Flats, renting flats in Central London .
