Sarah Arrow is the organiser of this blog or managing editor as she prefers
she is lovingly (she is convinced it’s lovingly) referred to as ‘the Boss’ by the other Birds. It brings a smile to her face.
This blog has been noted by Forbes as one of the top 100 websites for women, when it was just 6 months old.
Sarah came late to most things in life, which is shocking when you consider she was born 5 days early. Late to her degree, but not late to business but definitely late to blogging which she discovered back in 2007.
You can read and view her regular blogs here – same day courier, become a courier and her sandpit where she blogs about blogging, her writing coach and the things she quite likes.
Birds on the Blog is unique, since Sarah started this multi author blog in the UK, several others (copy cats) have sprang up, then died down. She would like to remind people that blogging takes effort and shouldn’t be undertaken on a whim.
Sarah enjoys Twitter, writing in the third person and burning cakes. Ok, she doesn’t enjoy burning cakes but she has yet to find a timer that she can use. She is quick to find the humor in things. She loves the rain, champagne, crimson roses, loud rock music, Prince, Chris Isaak. And Steven Pressfield. His books are her delight. Odd for a woman? Only if you say so. Sarah’s ideal day would feature all of these things.
She adores Vancouver in Canada and has declared it her spiritual home after seeing the winter Olympics there in Feb 2010.
Sarah is the most followed courier on twitter
Mum to three beautiful daughters and two Rottweilers, wife to Kevin Arrow, all in all she leads a busy life! She can be contacted to discuss reviews, advertising and anything else (although the meaning of life is 42, so don’t email about that) on Sarah@birdsontheblog.co.uk

In her shoes is a series of anonymous posts from women in business, sharing their experience. In your comments you are asked to answer the question – What would you do in her shoes? My story began 9 months ago; it is a story of self-realisation, friendship, love and betrayal. After 11 years at home [...]
