A bit heavy perhaps, but also she’s incredibly helpful and has carved out a niche in a male-dominated industry as a thought leader in her field (as they say).

  37. I aspire to be on this list next year! So I am going to steadily explore all these bloggers (some I know and am inspired by already) and see if I can’t learn a thing or two from them!
Thanks for compiling this, I know modesty forbids you putting yourself on the list but you should be there!!

  38. This is a fantastic list. I do not recognise many of these names so this is a wonderful short cut research tool to help one connect with respected female bloggers.

I am going to slowly make my way through the list.

    Happy New Year to all.

  41. What an honour! I couldn’t believe it when I saw my name, my real name and actual profession up there with the likes of Forbes no1 most influential woman in social media, Ann Handley. What a way to start 2012! Onwards and upwards I say, and this gives me the gusto to keep going with my passion for African food. Also nice to see some other women in STEM professions up there as well, looking forward to connecting in 2012! Go Orange!!!!!!!!! Freda Muyambo

  49. Great list. Some of the names I know but most I don’t. I would like to include a group of women who are inspiring as the blog about how their efforts are saving the Planet. The group is composed of authors, social media mavens, lawyers, teachers, activists, and mostly moms.

Check out the women of the Green Carnival over on Lynn of Organicmania.com’s website. http://organicmania.com/green-moms-carnival/

I am honored to be part of this wonderful group of women. I hope you all follow our monthly carnivals or us at @greenmoms

Thanks for providing the space to list other wonderful women bloggers.
